Hanua Mero by Becca, Ben and Serge

The Title “Hanua Mero” means “Village Boy” in the Motuan language in Papua New Guinea (PNG) . The Concept of the animation was inspired by my grandparents and family who left PNG to come to Australia and adapt to a western way of life. We generalised it on a more broader scale creating a Traditional Village boy. thoughout the animation he keeps his necklace symbolically it represents his culture and not forgeting your roots.
